Civello Salon & Spa is a well-established brand with two other locations in Ontario. Where Civello’s visual identity prioritizes elegance, sleekness, and a classic sense of design, the new look for the salon had to reflect the new priorities of the brand. Familiarity over elegance, comfort over sleekness, and freshness over classiness. These choices are founded in more.’s values, and establish the salon as a community space within the neighbourhood.
The Name
The name more. was chosen by the salon owner. It means more care, more community, and more sustainability. more, full stop. This ethos helped me understand the owner’s goals and heart going into the project, and helped guide the new brand direction,.
The values
More. is focused on creating lasting and meaningful relationships within the community. Sustainability is at the core of every product the salon carries, so making this environmental commitment visible and central was key to establishing the heart of the salon.
